PAGE COUNTY, Va. — County administrators have provided new details about a proposed Page Valley Food & Visitor Hub, including the steps required before the county can move forward with a newly-announced $50,000 state grant.
On August 19, 2026, Shen-Valley Times reported that Page County had been awarded $50,000 through the Governor’s Agriculture and Forestry Industries Development Fund Infrastructure Grant program.
The funding is intended to help develop a county-owned, locally operated facility featuring a licensed, shared-use commercial kitchen for local food businesses and agricultural producers.
Shen-Valley Times requested additional information about the project.

Page County appreciates Governor Spanberger’s announcement of the Agriculture and Forestry Industries Development (AFID) grant award supporting economic development in our community.
At this time, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Page County and the Commonwealth has not yet been executed.
Once the terms are finalized, the proposal will go before the Page County Board of Supervisors.
It is scheduled to be presented at the Board’s September 8 work session.
We look forward to sharing more information about the project once this process is complete.
