EXTREME HEAT 6/30 - 7/4
This is NOT the hot girl summer we were talking about. All we’re going to have after next week is frizzy hair and mascara running down our faces. And during Stanley Homecoming?! This is (almost) literally a crisis so please pay attention.
Tuesday 6/30 through Saturday 7/4, there will be potentially record breaking heat and humidity. (Prepare to be in a Netflix documentary.) Temperatures will be in the upper 90s to low 100s. There will be minimal relief at night with overnight lows in the upper 60s to mid 70s. Extreme heat can result in an increased risk for heat related illnesses.
We know this isn’t what you want to hear, but you may want to adjust outdoor plans for America’s 250th Birthday (our frizzy-haired girls especially). Glance at the heat planning timeline below before you scroll on. Prepare now and stay crystal cool next week.
