STANLEY, Va. — The Page County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing 17-year-old boy who was last seen Thursday evening.
David Cole Sprouse was last seen around 5:30 p.m. near 1865 Honeyville Road.
Authorities believe he is traveling alone on foot.
Sprouse is described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds.
He was last seen wearing black sweatpants and a blue shirt and carrying a black backpack.
About an hour after issuing the missing juvenile alert, the PCSO asked residents and motorists to avoid the 1800 block of Honeyville Road due to ongoing law enforcement activity.
The alert advised that drones were being deployed in the area but emphasized that there is no threat to the community.
