Stolen Vehicle Plows into Luray 7-Eleven; Woman Arrested
LURAY, Va. — A Page County woman was taken into custody early Thursday after allegedly stealing a vehicle and crashing it into a convenience store.
According to a written statement from Luray Police Chief C.S. “Bow” Cook, the incident occured March 19, 2026.
At about 5:50 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 7-Eleven at 610 East Main Street for a reported vehicle theft.
An initial investigation revealed that a physical altercation had occurred between the vehicle’s owner and a female suspect in the store’s parking lot.
During the altercation, the suspect managed to gain control of the vehicle and drove away.
According to authorities, the suspect, later identified as Michelle Blosser, returned to the store, allegedly shoplifted merchandise, got back into the vehicle, and drove it through the front glass windows.
She then fled the scene.
Officers were later notified of the vehicle’s location and found it with Blosser still inside.
She was taken into custody without incident.
Blosser, 38, was charged with:
Two counts of Felony Destruction of Property
One count of Carjacking
One count of Misdemeanor Petit Larceny
One count of Attempted Malicious Wounding
One count of Driving Suspended
One count of Hit & Run
One count of Obstruction of Law Enforcement
No injuries were reported.
The case remains under investigation.
