Stanley Fire Crews Battle Two Blazes in One Night
STANLEY, Va. — Firefighters from Company 24 responded to two separate incidents on Sunday, December 14, 2025.
At approximately 4:33 p.m., units were dispatched to a structure fire near Valley Gas and Grocery in the 800 block of Honeyville Road.
Crews arrived to find a single-story residential structure fully engulfed.

Details about the home’s occupants were not shared. Donation or fundraising information has not yet been released. No injuries were reported.
Later that evening, shortly after 8 p.m., Company 24 units were dispatched to a chimney fire at a second residence.
Firefighters responded quickly and were able to contain the blaze to the chimney, preventing further damage.
No injuries were reported.
