Stanley Crews Battle Jordan Hollow Vehicle Fire
STANLEY, Va. — The Stanley Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire Wednesday night on Hawksbill Park Road at Jordan Hollow Road.
According to Fire Chief Jason F. Pettit, crews were dispatched at 9:11 p.m. on May 27, 2026.
Crews arrived to find a Ford SUV with heavy fire in the engine compartment, spreading into the passenger area.
The fire was contained to the vehicle and was brought under control by 9:30 p.m.
Units remained on scene until approximately 10:28 p.m. while the vehicle was towed.
All occupants had exited the vehicle before firefighters arrived, and no injuries were reported.
During this incident, the Stanley Volunteer Fire Department was assisted by the Stanley Volunteer Rescue Squad and the Page County Sheriff’s Office.
