Six Warrants Issued in Luray Child Exploitation Case
LURAY, Va. — A local man was arrested May 19 following an investigation into suspected child abuse material, according to the Luray Police Department (LPD).
Police said Cpl. J. Jenkins received information May 5, 2026 from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding suspected child abuse material linked to an online account associated with Ricky L. Good of Luray.
During the investigation, a LPD Internet Crimes Against Children investigator identified material consistent with illegal child exploitation material.
The investigation resulted in the issuance of six warrants charging Good under Virginia Code 18.2-374.1:1 (possession of child pornography).
Good, 70, was arrested May 19 without incident and is being held without bond, according to police.
The investigation, aided by the Page County Sheriff’s Office and Virginia State Police, remains ongoing.
