Significant Xfinity Outage Affects Page County
LURAY, Va. — Just before 3 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025, residents in the northern end of the county began to experience “comnection lags” and a total interruption of Xfinity Internet and related services.
By 2:52 p.m., the Xfinity app reported an outage due to “network damage” with a tentative restoral time of 5 p.m.
Moments later, the restoral time was pushed back to 7 p.m., with the app indicating more than 2,000 customers were affected.
At the time of this writing, some services in Luray have been restored. However, several residents in Stanley are reporting (via social media) that they are still experiencing outage issues.
Also at this time, no specific reason has been given for the damage that caused the outage.
