Shenandoah Drug Bust Leads to Arrest
SHENANDOAH, Va. — One person was arrested after law enforcement executed a search warrant at a residence within town limits.
According to the Page County Sheriff’s Office, members of the agency’s Drug Interdiction Unit and Emergency Response Team, along with officers from the Shenandoah Police Department, served the warrant at about 8:58 a.m. on March 10, 2026.
During the search, deputies recovered suspected methamphetamine and suspected fentanyl.
One of the substances field-tested positive for methamphetamine, while the second substance was sent to a laboratory for analysis and weight determination.
One individual was taken into custody and charged with Virginia Code § 18.2-250 Possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance.
The individual was transported to the Page County Jail. Additional charges may be pending as the investigation continues.
According to authorities, no weapons, cash or other property were recovered during the search.
