SHENANDOAH, Va. — Local rescue teams responded to a two-vehicle crash on October 8, 2025.
Unofficial reports indicated at least two adult women were taken to the hospital after their vehicle struck a concrete wall at the intersection of Third Street and Pennsylvania Avenue on Wednesday.
Members of the Shenandoah Volunteer Fire Department and Page County EMS quickly arrived on-scene.
“AirCare” was requested, with two separate medevacs (AC4 and AC5) meeting local crews at the Shenandoah Speedway landing zone.
A since-deleted post on the town’s official Facebook page expressed appreciation for those who assisted with the incident.
“Several volunteers were on-site immediately, rendering aid and assessing the situation. We are extremely blessed to have a group of volunteers who man the fire department and give their time freely to help our community at all hours of the day,” the post read.
The cause of the crash was not disclosed.
Way to go First Responders! Elkton EMS & Stanley Vol. Rescue also assisted to my understanding, hats off to them as well!
