Page County Students Face Charges After JV Football Team Incident
LURAY, Va. — Page County Commonwealth’s Attorney Armanda Clymer has announced that her office has approved charges against three students in connection with a recent incident at Page County High School.
In an October 10, 2025 media release, Mrs. Clymer stated:
There has been widespread discussion in the community and on social media about an incident that recently occurred at Page County High School.
While the allegations are serious, the facts do not match the rumor mongering that is frankly unfair to alleged suspects and victims alike.
Our office has spoken directly with the alleged victims and their parents and there is no credible evidence that any sexual assault occurred as has been the subject of wild and rampant speculation.
Our office has directed the Page County Sheriff’s Office to obtain five juvenile petitions against three separate juveniles for two separate alleged incidents of assault and battery by a mob pursuant to Virginia Code Section 18.2-42.
We will zealously pursue these charges, and the identities of victims and alleged offenders will be protected, consistent with the limitations of Virginia law.
