Page County Fire Crews Assist with Elkton Incident
ELKTON, Va. — Page County crews recently helped to battle a fire in a neighboring county.
According to the Elkton Volunteer Fire Department, a garage fire was reported on Red Brush Road on February 7, 2026.
Engine 35 brought the blaze under control shortly after arriving.
The department thanked Shenandoah Fire Company 70 and the McGaheysville Fire Company for assisting at the scene.
The Grottoes Volunteer Fire Department also provided coverage and responded to additional calls for service during the incident.
No injuries were reported.
The Rockingham County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
