LURAY, Va. — On Monday September 14, 2026, Page County will open a new DMV Select office at the Page County Government Center.
DMV Select offices are operated by local governments and private entities in partnership with the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, providing certain vehicle-related services on behalf of the agency.
Before the new DMV Select could receive final approval, three new full-time employees hired to staff the office were required to undergo Virginia State Police background checks.
County Administrator Amity Moler was also required to successfully pass a federal background check.
“Having the DMV Select here gives residents the added convenience of being able to take care of DMV business while they are here for other county services,” Moler said.
The office, located on the lower level of the building, will provide several vehicle-related services, including title and registration transactions, license plates and decals, disabled parking placards and E-ZPass transponders.
It will also offer Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources hunting and fishing licenses.
The Page County Government Center is located at 103 S Court Street. Parking for the DMV Select will be in the rear of the building with space also available in the side lot.
