Monday Wind Advisory for Page County and Surrounding
The National Weather Service (NWS) in Washington DC has issued a Wind Advisory for December 29, 2025.
WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM MONDAY TO 1 AM EST TUESDAY
Advisory area: North Central Maryland, Northwest and Western Virginia, and the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. The following counties will be affected:
Washington, Augusta, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Frederick VA, Page, Warren, Clarke, Hampshire, Morgan, Berkeley, Jefferson, and Hardy.
West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.
Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be fall and power outages may result. Extra caution and preparation is advised.
