LURAY, Va. — The Luray Fire Department is accepting rental applications for the building at 22 Zerkle Street, formerly home to Hawksbill Brewery.
The available space includes the building’s first floor, a rear storage area known as the “Golden Room,” a paved side garden and patio area, and five designated parking spaces in the shared Luray Fire Department parking lot.
Lease terms will be established through an agreement between the department and the selected tenant.
The listing, posted on social media, states:
Applications will be accepted until 5pm, Monday August 31, 2026.
Applications will be reviewed on September 8, 2026 by the Luray Fire Department Executive Committee.
Due to a current lease, a new lease for the premises will not be negotiated until at least November 1, 2026.
There is a $25.00 application fee payable to Luray Fire Department upon submission of rental application.
Applications must be mailed to 1 Firehouse Lane, Luray, Virginia 22835.
All information on application must be completed in order for the application to be considered.
Incomplete application information will lead to automatic disqualification of consideration.

Equipment and furnishings are not included in the lease and remain the property of Hawksbill Brewery. Anyone interested in purchasing equipment or other items owned by the brewery would need to negotiate separately with its owner.
