The National Weather Service in Washington DC has issued a Wind Advisory for the following areas and counties:
Augusta, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Page, Warren, Clarke, Jefferson, Rappahannock, Northern Fauquier, Western Loudoun, Northern Virginia, Blue Ridge, and Central Virginia Blue Ridge and Frederick MD.
West winds 20-30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.
Wind Advisory will remain in effect from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and power outages may result. Be prepared.
