Fast Response Keeps Shenandoah House Fire Contained
SHENANDOAH, Va. — Fire crews battled a blaze at a local residence on Tuesday evening.
An active fire was reported on the first floor of 104 2nd Street.
According to a media statement from the Shenandoah Volunteer Fire Department (SVFD), crews were on scene within three minutes of being dispatched.
The fire was quickly contained to the room of origin.
The SVFD was assisted by the Elkton Volunteer Fire Company and the Stanley Volunteer Fire Department.
No injuries were reported.
The fire remains under investigation.
