Driver Charged in Multi-Vehicle Page County Crash
SHENANDOAH, Va. — Virginia State Police (VSP) are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that left three people injured.
According to a VSP media statement, the incident occurred April 2, 2026.
At approximately 2:23 p.m., a 2003 Toyota Tacoma traveling south on U.S. 340 crossed the center line to avoid two vehicles making a left turn near McDaniel Lane.
The Tacoma then crossed back over the center line to avoid a northbound tractor-trailer.
During the maneuver, the Tacoma struck a 2012 Subaru Legacy.
The impact pushed the Subaru into the northbound lanes, where it was struck by a 2016 Mack 600 truck.
The Tacoma also struck a nearby pickup truck.

The driver of the Tacoma, William Clayton Stillwill of Luray, was arrested and charged with obstruction, driving while suspended, reckless driving and additional traffic offenses.
The crash remains under investigation.
According to the Page County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, the roadway was closed for more than three hours following the incident.
Stillwill is due to appear in Page County General District Court on June 4.
