Check Your Cameras: PSCO Seeks Overnight Footage from Town of Shenandoah

SHENANDOAH, Va. — The Page County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) is asking residents and businesses near Back Road and Fleeburg Road to review surveillance footage as part of an investigation.
Authorities are seeking footage from home, business or vehicle cameras recorded between approximately 2 and 7 a.m. during the past several days.
Anyone who notices unusual or suspicious activity during that time is asked to preserve the footage and contact the PCSO Investigations Division.
An August 13, 2026 PCSO media statement noted that even seemingly minor details could be helpful to investigators.
A Thursday evening social media post from the department warned:
Due to recent vehicle thefts in the south end of the county (Shenandoah Area), make sure you are locking your vehicles and taking valuables and keys out of the vehicle!
Don’t allow yourself to be a target of opportunity!
Officials also cautioned residents not to approach or confront anyone they believe may be involved.
Anyone with relevant surveillance footage or information is urged to contact the PCSO Investigation Division at (540) 743-7810.
